Many of us believe self-esteem is built externally...our achievements, awards, accomplishments, credentials, titles, etc. To consider the alternative that self-esteem is created from within requires a shift in thinking. To dig deep and have a conviction to say "I know who I am for my own sake," versus "I know what I have done," can lead to a life altering experience allowing you to rejoice in yourself.
