Humor

It’s true! Humor and laughter really are great forms of medicine. Laughter releases endorphins in the body similar to the effects of a physical workout that stimulates the feel-good chemicals in the brain. Researchers have demonstrated that laughter raises our ability to tolerate discomfort. When we are able to laugh and not take life too seriously, we can provide our own intravenous dose of cheer while also increasing the positive effects on our body.

How can you bring more humor into your life?
