Family

A word that is very much part of our journey during this time of quarantine is FAMILY. And perhaps...we are all learning more about our families and our make up more than ever as we spend more time together.

Family

Families come in all shapes and sizes. When we think of family, most of us think of our blood kin. For many of us, however,“family” extends beyond our blood kin. We may have been blessed with unique friendships that through the course of time have certainly deserved the title of “my family.” Whether blood ties or friendship bonds, each has their own expression of connection.

When meditating on the word “family”, who comes to mind? What defines family for you?

"Our most basic instinct is not for survival but for family."

-Paul Pearsall
