Escapes — Healthy Options
Yes, there are times when the world feels like a bit more than we can handle. On those occasions, finding “refuge” to regroup and disengage may be a helpful option. What are your “escapes”?
Some of my escapes are going to see a good movie, baking cookies, reading a good book, slipping in a family video, or listening to instrumental music. These are just a few examples of some ways to take time to reenergize.
Have you found your “escape” to be of a healthy nature? Are there any “escapes” that you recognize as unhealthy? Are there ways you can transform them into a healthy “escape”?
